Overview

For vehicles that require retail facility access, we propose the use of our Hightowers Petroleum Co MasterCard, the most unique new offering in universal cards on the market today. Each participating driver will be provided a Comdata MasterCard which will allow program participants to purchase fuel and fuel related products at retail fuel sites without sacrificing data collection and information processing capabilities. To provide immediate access to cost control information, data can be provided to your data processing systems via established transfer protocols (FTP, EDI, Internet, Email) in formats compatible with your requirements. With the Hightowers Petroleum Co MasterCard, you can literally design your own card program for some or all of your cardholders and achieve the following benefit:

Card Utility and Control

With the use of our Hightowers Petroleum Co Mastercard, you will be able to assign the card to a driver or vehicle. Lock out cards immediately by calling us if one is lost or stolen and we will deactivate the card. You will be able to control user access and/or perform mileage reconciliation through driver prompts at the point of sale (where available) and the driver’s entry of an employee number and/or odometer reading.

Technical Support

Contractor Dispatching

If determined that a site requires a service call by a qualified contractor, Hightowers Petroleum will assist. Hightowers Petroleum maintains a national network of equipment contractors to assist in timely and cost effective service calls.

On-line Diagnostics

Sites are polled daily to review current site status. If a problem arises, the monitoring center technicians will run live, on-line equipment diagnostics at a specific site in an effort to perform issue resolution. Hightowers Petroleum will prioritize the open issues in order of their importance as it relates to inventory management and environmental risk management which include regulatory compliance.

Payment for Work Performed

For each transaction made at retail facilities, the cost of fuel shall be the retail pump price for fuel charged by the retail facility. Hightowers Petroleum will provide the transaction information and reports in the file format and media designated by the participating departments.

Report

Audit reports can be broken down by operating company, division, or vehicle in preferred intervals. All data is available in an electronic ASCII format or in any media you may require, and audit reports can be customized (for a fee) in any format you desire and input directly into your system utilizing the following information (when available)

Retail Fixed Price Program

Hightowers Petroleum has developed a Retail Fixed Price Fuel Program for Fleets that purchase fuel from commercial fuel stations. The fix retail price program is designed to help fleet managers and purchasing agents effectively budget for fuel expenses for a given time period and specific volume of fuel. This will allow you to reliably predict what your margin will be for the coming months or for a year. Having this information will allow your clients to manage their fuel as an asset rather than a liability.

Current card programs are not affected, and fixed pricing can be reported and assigned at the vehicle level. Hightowers Petroleum has individually designed and customized tools that allow Fleet Managers to control the cost of fuel, their second largest expenditure.

Two of our larger clients have viewed this program from the CFO’s position. Of the five largest expenditures, fuel is the most volatile. By controlling this expense, the company can assure their stockholders a dividend. Consequently, the savings of this program were small compared to the strength realized in their respective stocks.

Our fixed retail price program consists of contracts being bought for the resulting volume purchased at retail. We would be executing contracts per month (42,000 gallon increments) for one year or the time period agreed upon.

The Hightowers Petroleum pricing structure is flexible and can be customized to fit the needs of your fleet. Since the market trades for twelve-month intervals, it is advisable to fix a 1 year price. Together, we can evaluate the success of the program at the beginning of each year and determine the strategy of pricing options. Your fleet administration personnel and ours need to discuss the benefits of all the aforementioned options and determine the best price structure for the fleet.
