Founded in 1984 by Stephen Hightower and building on a family business established in 1957, Hightowers Petroleum was launched via a strategic alliance with oil giant BP Oil in early 1985. Stephen Hightower and his father Yudell Hightower are the majority stockholders of the closely held Ohio based corporation where Stephen serves as the President and CEO.

As a licensed Motor Fuel Dealer in multiple states Nationally, as well as a PUCO “contract carrier”, Hightowers Petroleum has established a stable and respected presence throughout the Midwest for fuel distribution. HPC is known for its integrity, strong sense of urgency and unique fuel distribution models. We are a multi-faceted distributor with a management structure capable of addressing a multitude of upstream and downstream petroleum needs ranging in size and complexity. In the Upstream marketplace we have access to the supply of crude oil through networks of Foreign Governments and major oil producers, while our downstream activity provides distribution nationally for the demand for lubricants, oils, and refined products, and delivery to end users from the Refinery to the pump. Both aspects of the business require a high level of support and knowledge regarding the specific requirements of the oil and gas industry. Hightowers Petroleum has a long established reputation for moving petroleum from the pipelines, marine vessels, trucks and rail, to the consumer at large.
